		<description>POINT20 Events light

I took on a design project for Corelighting LTD, in which I produced the ID for their new light for the events market.

The POINT20 light is a battery powered, self-contained LED unit, with wireless control. Perfect for lighting up trees, architectural features, pathways and marquees.

		<description>Everyone likes to doodle.
One day I found myself drawing a hotdog character for some reason.

From this I decided to make an animation, and here is the result.

I used Cinema 4D and after Effects.

Competition winner.

The design challenge was to create a fun concept for business cards, that used a 3D element.
My idea unfolds to reveal a set of 3D specs, that are used to view an online portfolio in 3D.

		<description>Seamless. Social. Sound.

The sterile way, in which our audio experiences have evolved, has left us disconnected from the emotion of listening to music. Juke explores the use of tangible interactions that were lost with dying music formats, enhancing the music experience and making the home a more social space. Physical and digital elements of Juke are linked by time, and users are engaged through a visually rich and intuitive touch interface.

Whilst Juke creates a seamless harmony between home and portable audio, it offers a new focal point, where television has previously dominated. The Playlists not only act as a Hub control, but are portable music players to be enjoyed individually or shared with friends.

		<description>Augmented Eco

In designing a new set of postage stamps, the emphasis was placed on finding a way to engage and excite a new and younger audience. Interaction with Augmented Reality added a new dimension to the environmental message the stamps were to portray. Fiduciary markers are viewed through web cam or camera phone, as virtual objects are combined with the real world.

Augmented Eco is a (fictional) government funded advertising company, created to raise the awareness of environmental issues. In collaboration with Royal Mail, a new set of postage stamps were produced, including fiduciary markers, in order to display ‘green’ themed objects through a camera. The objects move around onscreen, in relation to the stamp’s position.

		<description>Further Concepts

In thinking about the uses of augmented reality during the stamps project, there were many opportunities in which it could be applied.

Different forms of advertising could draw in a fresh audience, and the use of new technologies would excite a younger crowd, who perhaps would not otherwise pay attention to our world's climate issues.

Here I have toyed with ideas of magazine sticker campaigns, and a variety of guerilla advertising uses.
